
United Trust Bank Reshapes Buy-to-Let Lending
United Trust Bank (UTB) has made significant strides in improving its offerings for buy-to-let (BTL) landlords by abolishing the restrictions on the number of properties in which borrowers can invest. Effective immediately, there is no longer a cap on the total portfolio size for large portfolio landlords, presenting new opportunities for both brokers and investors.
Under the revised guidelines, UTB allows the mortgage of up to six properties at a time and offers funding up to £2.5 million. However, borrowers with more than ten properties will need to provide cash flow statements, and those with portfolios exceeding 20 properties or valued over £5 million will be required to submit a completed business plan using a simplified template provided by UTB.
